If you are looking for a short quick read about random acts of kindness, Christmas Jars is for you. At 122 pages, it reads fast. I was cleaning out mom’s library and ran across this. I have been in a reading slump lately and this looked to be easy to get into without a whole lot of commitment. It was also about a high school student that wanted to write for a living, wanted to work at the newspaper. Having work for a large city newspaper for fifteen plus years and being a writer, I was hooked. I especially loved Adam and his wife. Warning, it is a bit sappy but it is still a great book.
