While not the best that I have read, Of Noble Birth  was an enjoyable historical romance and kept me reading. A few questions, I had were: a) how did Nathaniel get from the Britsh prison ships, the Hulks back to Graystone so fast (at least it seemed so fast since there was no way to judge how much time as passed) in his condition; b) what happened to Rat? c) did the Scotland Yard inspector know who was on the train when he got on it. Other than those questions, and the wanting to skip over the floggings (I didn’t), Of Noble Birth would earn 3.5 stars if Goodreads gave them. I would read more in this line written by Brenda Novak.
